What is Astrocartography?

Originally created by Astrologer Jim Lewis in the 1970’s, AstroCartography is a type of locational astrology.

It looks at how your astrological birth chart corresponds to different locations on earth.

Simply speaking, it looks at where the planets were positioned in the sky - and above which locations - when you were born.

It can explain why one person might feel absolutely at home in, say, New York City, while the next person comes across every single problem they could possibly imagine in the same place.

With AstroCartography, we review ‘lines’ - Venus lines, Saturn lines, Mercury lines, etc which pass through the globe, and are the best places to live or visit to work with that planet’s energy.

With AstroCartography, there are over 40 lines we can work with. They include the Sun, Moon and major planets + Chiron, on the different (4) angles of our natal astrological chart.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know about Astrology already? Is this suitable for beginners?

You don't need to know any astrology already - YES this is suitable for beginners. I'll be covering the archetypes and themes of each planetary energy, so you don't need to be an expert.

Will I need to buy expensive tools to read my own Astro-Cartography?

No! I'll be showing you how to use free software to read your own Astro-Cartography chart.

Do I need to know my exact time of birth?

Yes, ideally - as Astro-Cartography is based on your ascendant (rising sign) and the angles of your chart. If you have a good estimate, we can work with that, but the more accurate the better. So try to find out! If you have no idea about your birth time and can't find out, Astro-Cartography may not be the best solution for you at this time, you can contact me to discuss other ways of working together.

Do I need to bring my birth chart?

If you already know how to pull your birth chart, yes do bring it. If you don't, don't worry - Astro-Cartography is an independent tool.

Do I have to be able to attend live?

Please do join live if you can, and especially if you want a chance to be selected for a mini-reading. I can only look at your Astro-Cartography chart if you are present. If you can't join live, then all of the rest of the information will be available, and a recording of the workshop will be sent out after.

Is this only for travellers?

No! It's a great tool for anyone considering where to locate themselves, maybe thinking of a move, or even planning trips within your own country. You don't have to be planning a trip to the other side of the world to use this. We'll also talk about how to bring the energies in other places to you.

When will the workshop be held?

The workshop will be on Friday 1st December 2023 at 7pm UK / 2pm New York / 11am Los Angeles (please adjust for your time zone).
